POSITION SUMMARY

 **Candidates must submit a portfolio (digital or other) of past work as part of their application to be considered**

 

We are looking for a Creative Producer to tell the Southland story. This individual will create compelling video, photographic, and graphic assists for various marketing purposes, while interpreting the brand style guide to build new assets based on corporate direction. The candidate will be assigned a variety of tasks in the field and within the office to capture assets, testimonials, and other corporate needs. A successful individual would be a creative storyteller that can showcase their film/video, editing, photography, and design skills to enhance our story and culture.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

 

  • Must be a creative thinker and storyteller, with an ability to influence and execute innovative ideas
  • Partner with the marketing team to create consistently branded collateral for corporate materials
  • Research industry and competitor trends and suggest new content ideas for social media, website, internal messaging, or similarly related materials
  • Collaborate with internal departments on projects and assignments
  • Craft stories that are consistent with our brand story
  • Operate, maintain, and set up all photography, video, audio, and lighting equipment
  • Animate in Adobe After Effects
  • Record interviews, testimonials, corporate training, field footage, and other business-related materials
  • Edit, export, compress and upload videos as necessary
  • Take still photography/video for project sites
  • Manage media through our digital asset manager
  • Edit/create video using Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects
  • Edit/create graphic material using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Collaborate through post-production process
  • Help manage any additional outside video production work
  • Create content for social media
  • Develop shot lists for video and photography shoots

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

 

 

  • Must be proficient using specialized software such as Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Proficient using either PC or MAC
  • Proficient using DSLR, video, audio, and lighting equipment
  • Experience with drones
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter who is able to work independently on projects, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members across the company.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Experience working with Revit or CAD files, a plus

 

 

What you bring to the table:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Film/Video or Graphic Design
  • 5-7+ years experience filming and editing corporate documentary-style video footage and photography;
    2-5 years experience in graphic design or creative production services
  • Available to travel to project sites as needed with potential future travel up to 30-50%.
  • Candidates must provide a portfolio of work/samples that showcase your project work from concept to completion
